AJ Styles defeated John Cena at “Money in the Bank” with interference from The Club. Although it is technically a win, the WWE Universe isn’t going to give him the credit he deserves until he beats Cena clean.
Cena vs. Styles is booked for “Summerslam,” which many people are expecting to steal the show and become one of the most important matches in WWE history based on their parallel history.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Dean Ambrose will be working AJ Styles after “Summerslam” in a few weeks. It’s not being reported if Ambrose will still be the WWE Champion, but that is the belief.
That news is leading to a lot of speculation that the feud for the WWE Championship after “Summerslam” will be Ambrose vs. Styles, which is making a lot of people wonder about the result of Cena vs. Styles.
If Styles is headed for a feud with The Lunatic Fringe and targeting the WWE Championship, doesn’t it make more sense for him to do that after defeating John Cena rather than coming off a loss to Cena?
