In just over a fortnight, Roman Reigns will be facing Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania.
It’s essentially written in stone that Reigns will defeat The Game and become the WWE Champion, but it’s not going to happen without a lot of negative attention.
Earlier today, Roman Reigns responded to a fan on Twitter lashing out at him about it:

Roman pulled it off as a joke and took a decent, but not an aggressive jab at the fan. On paper, he didn’t do anything wrong, but responding at all could get him some negative attention.
Reigns isn’t normally a guy you see respond to the negativity, so why did he choose to respond to a negative fan today?
Is it because aside from the fingers thing, he had a point?
Frankly, Reigns gets too much flack from the WWE Universe. He’s got the talent to be a top guy, but at the same time, he’s clearly not the one the collective WWE Universe want as the top guy.
A lot of that comes from being marketable and pushed by the machine, but much of the negativity Reigns gets is he wasn’t chosen by the fans.
That’s pivotal when it comes to building the brand. Ultimately, Reigns will continue to get this response if things keep going this way.
Do you think the negativity Reigns gets is fair?
