During last night’s NXT live event in Jacksonville, Florida, there was a six-man tag team match between Riddick Moss, the current NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson versus Enzo Amore, Big Cass, and Sami Zayn.
Unfortunately, a big spot was called for a triple suplex. During the spot, Enzo had some trouble holding onto Riddick, and he ended up dropping him on his head. You can see the full spot below thanks to a fan’s video from Twitter:

You can clearly see Enzo struggle in the middle to hold onto him. When his head hit the mat, Riddick was knocked unconscious immediately. The match was immediately stopped and ruled as a no contest while paramedics worked on Riddick.
He laid on the mat and didn’t respond for over a minute, but he eventually did and was assisted to the back. Riddick Moss appears to be okay all things considered, but it was an injury scare that ruined the main event of the show for the Jacksonville audience.
No one should blame Enzo Amore that passionately. Unfortunately, these things do happen sometimes, and it’s just lucky that it wasn’t a worst case scenario. However, this just goes to show the risk that these athletes take even if you don’t know their name.
Have you ever seen an injury scare like this live?
