Report: There Are Two Ideas Pitched For Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania

Shawn Michaels is Mr. Wrestlemania. He’s always going to be welcome at the showcase of the immortals, but it’s a much better situation when he’s involved with something specifically rather than being a random promo or appearance.

The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels has already been rumored for the show, but during his appearance on ESPN this week, HBK revealed that he will be watching Wrestlemania inside the AT&T Stadium in Dallas. All that’s left is for him to find a purpose to get involved.

According to the Wrestling Observer, there are two pitched ideas on the table for Shawn Michaels to get involved with the show.

The first has been rumored in the past. The idea is for Michaels to act as the special guest referee for the WWE title match between Roman Reigns and Triple H. His presence would be to “stack the deck” against Reigns since his dynamic with The Game is infamous.

The other idea is for him to do a run-in during a match and interfere. That role may also be for Reigns vs. Triple H, but an interference would most likely include an interaction with The Rock during that match. The role could be compared to last year’s during Sting vs. Triple H.
