At Wrestlemania 32, Roman Reigns defeated Triple H to become the WWE Champion in front of over one-hundred thousand people in Dallas, Texas.
That’s how history will remember Reigns vs. Triple H, but it won’t mention how The Game then disappeared into thin air after losing to Roman and hasn’t been seen since, which means he’s unlikely for “Summerslam as well.”
There has been so much speculation about Triple H’s whereabouts as a character on WWE programming since Wrestlemania. Until very recently, there was no news on when he would be returning to television.
According to a report from RingSideNews.com, Triple H hasn’t been featured on WWE programming over the past four months because there is a lot of uncertainty within WWE about his in-ring future.
As of this writing, the plan is for The Game to wrestle at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, but there is no information about who he could be facing other than it “could be” an up and coming talent from NXT.
Kevin Owens would be an interesting choice. The Game vs. The Demon could be a lot of fun, and there is always the possibility of Nakamura vs. Triple H on the grandest stage of them all.
Who do you want to see as Triple H’s next opponent in WWE?
