NXT has been the hottest brand in wrestling today over the past twelve months. Hideo Itami has been forced to miss all of that time and he’s going to be entering a very different NXT than the one he left over a year ago.
The last we heard, his shoulder surgery didn’t go perfectly and he was going to lose some more time. However, he was “almost” ready to return a month ago. Now, there is another update on when we can expect him back.
According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, Hideo Itami is schedule to make his return to NXT after roughly thirteen months of recovery over the next few weeks.
There is no word on what to expect from him storyline wise, but his depth is only going to help the roster and create even more match-ups that the NXT Universe is going to want to see.
With the brand split coming in a few months, the rumor is that some more stars from NXT will be transition to the main roster. The future of Hideo is unclear, but it seems that more time in NXT is a good idea considering how much time he has lost.
