Carlito is Willing to Return to WWE

A few months ago, Los Matadores were taken off of WWE programming to develop something new since the “bullfighter” gimmick was too cartoonish and didn’t really fit with the current WWE product.

When that happened, the rumors began to fly about former United States Champion Carlito making his return to WWE creating a trio with Primo and Epico. Unfortunately, nothing came of those rumors until now.

Carlito recently appeared on Hannibal TV and discussed a variety of different things.  During the interview, Carlito commented on a possible WWE return and said the following:

“Hopefully, if everything lines up correctly. I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life now. I have got a couple of years left. It’s really up to them. The ball is really in their court.

That’s where I started. That’s where I made my career. I haven’t gone anywhere else so far. I’d go back under the right circumstances.”

Carlito was always a good wrestler and a pretty good personality. It would be interesting to see how he would fit in the present day WWE, but there is no way to know for sure if it would work unless everyone gives it a real shot.
