This June, “Suplex City” is coming to Hawaii.
Three weeks ago, Brock Lesnar defeated Dean Ambrose at Wrestlemania 32 in a “No Holds Barred” match. A lot of people were upset about the match quality, but also about The Beast Incarnate getting the victory.
Many people didn’t see the value of Lesnar winning when the night after Wrestlemania, he’ll be gone for an extended period of time that makes his win over Ambrose essentially meaningless for him.
However, it’s not being reported that Brock Lesnar will return to WWE during a WWE live event in late June in Hawaii. There is no word on his opponent as of this writing.
The following statement was made on the official website for Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena about the show:
“For the 1st time in nearly 7 years, WWE LIVE will make a stop at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena on Wed, June 29, 2016. This will be your chance to see your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas LIVE! SEE: Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Bray Wyatt, New Day, Kevin Owens, The Usos, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Charlotte plus many more!”
On paper, there are numerous opponents that Lesnar could face at that event, but there is no word on when Brock will be back on WWE television, so it’s hard to judge if the event will play a role in whatever feud he is in.
