As we all know, Daniel Bryan officially announced his retirement from the ring earlier this year in one of the most emotional retirement speeches we’ve ever seen in wrestling.
During the speech, Bryan made it clear that a big part of his post-WWE plans are to start a family and raise his children with Brie Bella.
Since his retirement, there have been a lot of rumors about the idea of him wrestling outside of WWE once his contract officially expires. That would make the SmackDown GM role something temporary.
According to a recent report from Inquisitir.com, Daniel Bryan recently revealed that his commitments to his wife and future children are the primary reason he’ll never wrestle again.
During a recent interview with “Philadelphia Inquirer” that he would risk his health and continue to wrestle if he were on his own, but he revealed the following during the interview:
“If I was on my own, if I wasn’t married, I would be like ‘Yeah, when my contract is up. I’m gone.’ Hell, I might even be wearing a mask at an independent show next week dressed up as star man, Because it’s what I love to do. But, it becomes different when you have a wife and you’re trying to have kids.”
Do you think Daniel Bryan should wrestle a very limited schedule outside of WWE?
