Some fans have expressed their disappointment over Bobby Roode’s role since debuting on the main roster. Despite his success in NXT, Roode has not found the same success on Raw or SmackDown Live. Many fans have pointed the finger to blame Vince McMahon.

The WWE Universe is hopeful a heel turn could do wonders for “The Glorious One.” In a surprise move, Roode has formed a new tag team with Chad Gable. Most people have no idea where it’s going. However, WWE officials seem to have a plan for Gable and Roode.
According to a report from DirtySheets, Bobby Roode will be turning heel against Gable in the near future. Triple H has lobbied with Vince McMahon for Roode to get a heel run rather than have him disappear into the midcard. Roode’s turn would be as much about Chad Gable as it would be about Bobby. Gable’s babyface run could receive a big boost.
It’s unclear how WWE officials plan to book their team with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler dominating the Raw tag team division. The plan seems to be getting them over as babyfaces for a few months. When the time is right, Roode will turn and begin a new rivalry with Gable on Raw. If all goes well, both performers should benefit a great deal.
Bobby Roode is a great tag team wrestler. It’s logical to keep him busy in the tag team division instead of floating in the midcard. Chad Gable is also a great tag team wrestler and a natural babyface. The end of American Alpha left him in the dark for a time, but now he’s in line for a bigger babyface run and Jason Jordan can’t even get on television.
