Also, The King of Cuteville hasn’t been booked properly in the ring, and his feud with Dolph Ziggler was mishandled and left him without any momentum to build off. Summer Rae being his heater also didn’t do him any favors. Breeze could be another example of something that works in NXT may not work on the main roster.
According to Wrestlezone.com, it was Triple H who pushed for Tyler Breeze to make the move to the main roster. The Game’s intent was to protect him because he saw Tyler as a great heel foil to Dolph Ziggler and thought that he could be on the same level, which is why they feuded immediately.
Vince McMahon initially agreed with Trips, but pushing Tyler Breeze as a heel didn’t get him over on the main roster as it did in NXT and his push stalled as the feud with Ziggler fizzled away.
Plans can always change, but Breeze doesn’t appear to be a strong part of what WWE has planned on The Road to Wrestlemania. For now, he’ll have to settle for being lost in the midcard until something changes. Triple H knows NXT and “gets” Breeze. He’ll take care of him.
