However, WWE.com has posted the following statement that clarifies Big Show won’t officially be the first entrant in the match:
The Superstars who draw Nos. 1 and 2 begin the bout, and a new Superstar joins the fray every 90 seconds until all 30 Superstars have entered the ring. The only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope and to the outside, with both feet touching the floor.
The last man standing will not only be the 2016 Royal Rumble Match winner, but also the No. 1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.
Big Show became the first Superstar to declare his participation, officially entering himself in theRoyal Rumble Match on the Dec. 28 edition of Raw. What other competitors will join The World’s Largest Athlete?
Other sources have also claimed that Big Show will not be the No. 1 entrant into the “Royal Rumble”. Over the next several weeks, WWE will be announcing several of the WWE superstars appearing in the match and there a most likely going to be a few surprise entrants as well.
