Austin Aries Reportedly In Talks With WWE

AJ Styles isn’t the only one who is being rumored to be making his debut in WWE today. A few months ago, Austin Aries was seen at the WWE Performance Center, and the rumors began to stir about “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived” potentially coming to WWE and debuting in NXT soon.

There was a rumor a few weeks ago that WWE has been actively pursuing former TNA stars to build up the depth of NXT. The James Storm situation is a good example of that despite the fact that he ultimately resigned with TNA. However, the jury is still out on Austin Aries potentially joining WWE shortly.

Since his appearance at the WWE Performance Center a few months ago, there has been no update on the relationship between Aries and WWE until now.

Now, it is being reported by Wrestling-Edge.com that Aries is scheduled to be in Pittsburgh this week. It could be a coincidence, but the belief is that he is undergoing WWE’s medical screening process, which will end up being a huge step in WWE signing Austin Aries soon.

As of this writing, Aries has not signed with WWE, but it’s believed he is in talks with the company about signing, so further news could come out of this rumor sooner rather than later.
