AJ Styles is a phenomenal wrestler, but that doesn’t mean that he immune to some wear and tear, especially considering how long he’s been wrestling.

Next Sunday at “Extreme Rules”, AJ Styles will have another chance to win the WWE Championship from Roman Reigns in an “Extreme Rules” match. However, it’s being reported that he won’t be wrestling until then.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Styles is suffering from some nagging injuries as of late, but WWE’s priority is to keep him healthy for “Extreme Rules.”

It’s being said that WWE is going to allow Styles to rest for the next two weeks and prepared for the match with Reigns that is likely going to have some intense spots to perform. AJ didn’t wrestle for this week’s SmackDown tapings because of those injuries.

It’s fortunate that “The Club” is around because that is going to keep the feud between Reigns and Styles hot over then next two week. Otherwise, AJ not being able to fight in the ring could have slowed down the build going into the PPV.

There have been some complaints from within WWE about the booking, so it will be interesting to see how strong WWE continues to build Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows over the next week of WWE programming.

Do you think AJ Styles should win the WWE Championship at “Extreme Rules?”
