Last night on Monday Night Raw, Dean Ambrose asserted his position as a top guy in WWE by challenging Triple H to a match for the WWE Championship.
Although the request was initially laughed off, The Game thought about it for the rest of the show until the League of Nations beat down Ambrose and picked his moment to strike.
The Lunatic Fringe fought back and forced Triple H’s hand to give him his title shot at a future date, but gave The Game the opportunity to lay Ambrose out and prove that he is not going to surrender the WWE title so easily to his new challenger.
It wasn’t originally revealed where and when the title match would take place, but it is directly tied to the rumor that came out last week that Triple H would defend the championship before Wrestlemania 32.
Shortly after Raw, WWE.com officially announced that Dean Ambrose will challenge Triple H for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania Roadblock on March 12th only on the WWE Network.
