Despite the overwhelming support and gratitude that has been shown to Daniel Bryan through his official retirement from pro wrestling, there are always going to be a fan or two that try to go against the grain even when a moment of raw reality is happening in the ring.
A user on Reddit who was in attendance on Monday Night Raw last night revealed on the website that there was one fan that was ejected for singing out the infamous “Na, Na, Na, Na, Goodbye” song that is known to sarcastically say goodbye to heels in storylines.
Rarely is an arena so quite that one person can be heard from the crowd, so WWE wanted to preserve the moment for Daniel Bryan and the rest of the fans.
You can read what the Reddit User said on the website right here, or you can read it below:
“So some guy ended up getting thrown out (and roughed up) by security for trying to start a chant by singing that “na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye” song while Daniel was talking,” he wrote. “It was during the moment the whole place went silent while he was going over his gratitude; the guy started screaming the tune at the top of his lungs. Three security guys rushed him and just pulled him out of our row and he was out of there quick. You can tell by the look on his face that he didn’t even know what was happening.”
