Hope spot? Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never know when you are going to see someone need a lot of time and work to get back to full health. Some injuries can be career threatening but there are different ways to deal with a lot of them. Thankfully that seems to be the case with one of the biggest stars in wrestling today.

Throughout the course of the year, AEW’s Bryan Danielson has spoken about problems with his neck and how he is likely going to need surgery to fix the issue. According to the Wrestling Obsever Newsletter, Danielson is expected to undergo an MRI to assess his neck. The scan will see if he needs surgery, though there is still hope that he can avoid surgery and heal up with stem cell therapy. There is no word on when he will be able to return to the ring.

Opinion: Anything that results in Danielson not having surgery is an upgrade so hopefully eveyrthing works out ok. Danielson is already one of the most beloved and accomplished wrestlers in the world today so it isn’t like he has anything left to prove. His health is far more important than him ever getting back in the ring and while this might make that easier, all that matters is that he’s healthy.
