WWE Hoping Former World Champion Can Return At Royal Rumble

He’d be big. We are coming up on the Royal Rumble, which is regularly a show where several wrestlers can make returns to the ring after a long time away. It makes sense as there are sixty spots to fill between the show’s two namesake matches. WWE has reportedly been talking about bringing back an injure Superstar at the show as he has been gone for a good while.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of Cagesideseats.com, AJ Styles is scheduled to be in town for this weekend’s Royal Rumble, with WWE hopeful that he can return to the ring for the Men’s Royal Rumble. However, it is not certain that Styles will be medically cleared to return to the ring in time for the match. Styles has been out of action since October when he was injured in a match with Carmelo Hayes.

Opinion: I could go for seeing something like this as Styles is one of the most talented stars on the WWE roster. It has been a shame to see him out of action for so long as he is only going to have so much time left in the ring in the first place. Hopefully he is able to get back in the ring sooner than later, and bringing him back in for the Royal Rumble would be rather nice to see.
