WWE Announces Hall Of Famer For Special Appearance On Monday Night Raw

Remember him? There have been several stars throughout WWE’s history and some of them have made quite the impact despite their in-ring careers coming to an end. You will occasionally see WWE bring one of them back for some kind of a special appearance later. That is exactly what we are going to see next week with a certain legend making a surprise comeback.

This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that Hall Of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield will be making an appearance on next week’s show in Dallas, Texas. There is no word on what Layfield will be doing on the show. This comes as Layfield has made appearances in various smaller promotions, including TNA Wrestling, which has a working relationship with WWE’s NXT program.

Opinion: This is something that might tie into the whole deal with TNA as the Royal Rumble is coming up, or it could be a quick one off that has nothing to do with it. Either way, it’s nice to see a legend pop up for a cameo, as the fans are going to react to whatever Layfield is doing. WWE seems to understand that and I’m curious to see which way they go with the whole thing.
