Mark your calendars. There are several wrestling series that air every single week and some of them have aired for years. All of them have something else in common though, in that every show had to start at some point. It can be a big deal when a new series begins and some of them have rather specific goals. That is what we are going to be seeing soon and now we know when it is happening.

WWE, by way of 411mania.com, has announced that its upcoming Legends & Future Greats (LFG) will be debuting February 16 at 8pm on A&E. The series is a competition show featuring sixteen wrestlers competing for an NXT contract. They will be receiving coaching from legends such as the Undertaker, Booker T., Mickie James and Bubba Ray Dudley. The show will be followed by “WWE Rivals” and “WWE Greatest Moments”.

What matters the most here is that some of these younger stars are getting the chance and I like the idea of seeing something a bit different than the usual wrestling shows.
