That’s one way to go. We are on the way to WrestleMania 40 and while it is not clear exactly how yet, the Rock is going to be involved in some way. Rock has already made his presence felt in more than one way, with the latest twist seeing him join forces with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes. Now we know a bit more about where this is headed and it might be something you remember.

According to WrestleVotes, it is suggested that the Rock’s heel turn will lean into his previous Hollywood Rock persona, which he used around 2003. This includes him being expected to “fully embrace” the turn, with Cody Crybaby merchandise being expected as well. It was also said that “the story is just beginning”. It is not clear what the Rock will be doing at WrestleMania, but WWE may have been teasing a tag match.
Sources suggest that The Rock is expected to fully embrace his heel turn, drawing inspiration from his past ‘Hollywood’ Rock persona. Additionally, I’m told to anticipate the release of Rock branded ‘Cody Crybabies’ merchandise. The story is just beginning…

Opinion: This is certainly an interesting way to go and not exactly what was likely expected. The best sign is that WWE seems to be shifting away from what they were planning when Rock returned earlier this month. In previous days it would not be surprising for WWE to keep going with whatever they were doing whether it was well received or not, so maybe things are going in a better direction overall.
