WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Planning NBC Special For This December

Back at it? WWE has been around for a rather long time and has presented all kinds of television shows throughout the years. This can make for some infamous and well remembered moments, especially with shows that are presented over and over. While not confirmed, there is a chance that another such show could be returning after quite the long time away.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to begin selling tickets for an upcoming NBC prime time special, possibly as soon as next Friday. While there are no details announced, including the date, there is internal speculation that it could be held on a Saturday night in December. There is a chance that it could see the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event, should NBC and WWE choose to use the name again.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE gets to do every so often and it still feels important. Getting to air a broadcast on network television is always a big deal and hopefully WWE builds the card up to match the hype. Even if it is not Saturday Night’s Main Event, it is nice to have some kid of a special like this, especially if WWE puts in the effort to make it work.
