WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE May Be Building To A Main Event Tag Match At WrestleMania 40

Double shot? We are less than two months away from WrestleMania 40 and that means it is time to start getting the card ready. WWE has already done just that, with several matches either already set or heavily teased. There are still several matches that might be getting ready as well, and now we seem to be getting the tease for a match that you very well may not have expected.

Last week, WWE presented its WrestleMania press event, which featured a confrontation between Cody Rhodes and the Rock/Roman Reigns with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the background. In the days that have followed, Rollins has talked negatively about Rock, claiming he is using his position on the TKO board to appear at WrestleMania. In addition, the WrestleMania 40 trailer featured Rollins and Rhodes staring down Rock and Reigns. According to Wrestlingnews.co, this may be WWE teasing a tag match between the four at WrestleMania, though this has yet to be officially announce.

Opinion: The more I think about this, the more it seems like it could be a possibility. The fact that there are two nights to WrestleMania makes the idea more plausible and that could open up some more options. The tag match would certainly be interesting, though I’m not sure how much sense it makes to have more WrestleMania spots taken up by the same people on two nights.
