Call it a teaser? WWE is a lot of things but ultimately it is a story being told on television in front of your eyes. That means you are going to see some things that are scripted out well in advance, even if you might not notice it at the time. This can lead to some interesting surprises down the line and now we might have seen another one earlier this week regarding a major return.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Considering Introducing A New Title For The Bloodline
This week on Monday Night Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce announced a match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk for the January 6, 2025 Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles, California. In the background, a picture of the Rock could be seen on the side of a production truck. According to WrestleVotes on Backstage Pass via Wrestlingnews.co, this was done on purpose and the Rock is expected to be at the January 6 show. This has yet to be officially confirmed or announced. The Rock most recently appeared in a came at the end of Bad Blood in October.
Rock has made some returns before. Check out the segment in question and some of those returns:
Opinion: Given the nature of the show and where it is taking place, it would not surprise me one bit to see the Rock show up at the event. If nothing else, this is the kind of show that is going to start the Road To WrestleMania and it would be nice to have the Rock around to help build the event up. I’m not sure if the Rock is going to be at WrestleMania, but it would hardly be a surprise to see him at a major WWE event.
