Next up? There are certain ideas that have been around in wrestling for decades and those continue to this day. You will hear some of them come up over and over again with fans getting excited to be able to see them again. Now we are seeing another one of them taking place again in WWE, and it turns out that there is a rather important detail on what is going to happen.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They Did It: Two WWE Superstars Have Gained Positive Attention For Recent Matches

Last week on Monday Night Raw, a tournament was announced to crown a new #1 contender to Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Title. According to PWN on Twitter by way of Cagesideseats.com, the title shot earned by the winner will take place at Bad Blood on October 5. There are no details on the tournament itself, with only Jey Uso being announced as an entrant.

Opinion: This makes sense as we have less than a week to go before Bash In Berlin and that is not likely going to be enough time to run a tournament very well. I’d rather this get some time to be set up as it could make for a much more interesting final down the line. We don’t know much about the tournament yet but now we might have a better idea of when it will wrap up.
