So I guess he’s not a fan. Back in the early 1990s, there were few stars with the level of mystique that Sabu maintained. There was something about him that made you believe he really was completely insane and he often showed that craziness in the ring. However, it seems that some of the insanity might be a bit more realistic than you might think as Sabu has gone on a rather cruel rant.
After Monday’s news of Renee Young being permanently added to the Monday Night Raw announcers’ team, Sabu went on a short, homophobic, sexist rant on Twitter, pretty clearly not happy with the fact that Young got the job. The tweet has since been deleted but of course was seen and recorded before it was gone. Here is the statement that Sabu made, with transcription courtesy of Ringsidenews.com:
“She is the 1st non fag but she is one of many cock suckers”
She seemed happy at the original news:
Opinion: I’m pretty sure those words speak for themselves and I’m really not sure I want to know how Sabu got to this conclusion or why he felt the need to mention it. Young is rather talented at her job and has been around WWE for a lot longer than Sabu has been. I know he has a lot of fans and he was revolutionary in the ring, but this isn’t exactly something that is going to go well for him.
What do you think of Young being added to the team? How have you liked her so far? Let us know in the comments below.
