They’re working on it. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and as a result, there are going to be some people who have some issues with how things are working. This can lead to some issues when it is time for them to sign new deals with the company and now we might be seeing just that with one of WWE’s biggest names over the last couple of years.

Over the last few months, Drew McIntyre has reportedly been having contract issues with WWE and the two sides have not yet agreed to a new deal. According to PWInsider.com, McIntyre has yet to sign a new deal with WWE and he is reportedly interested in allowing his deal to expire and take a bit of a break. This would allow him to spend more time with his family as well as more time in Scotland. McIntyre’s deal is set to expire after WrestleMania 40, meaning there are over five months left on his contract.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to happen at some point and there is nothing wrong with it. McIntyre might not seem happy with how he is being used or treated in WWE (or it might be something completely different) and he might be willing to step away for a bit. While I would love to have McIntyre around for a lot longer, it seems that he is going to be pursued rather hard by the company.
