There’s a reason for that. All kinds of things take place on any given WWE event, some of which can be rather important. You can tell when something that matters takes place as the company gives it extra attention, but it might not be clear why you are seeing such a thing. It seems that we saw such a thing earlier this week and now we know a bit more about what happened.

This week’s Monday Night Raw saw Bronson Reed attack Seth Rollins and hit him with six Tsunamis, leaving Rollins spitting up blood. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was done to allow Rollins time away from the ring as he is dealing with a legitimate injury. There is no word on what the nature of his injury might be or how long he will be out of action.

Opinion: That explains a bit as Rollins needed to get away and WWE was smart enough to let someone else get the rub as a result. It made Reed look like more of a star than he has ever been before and sets up a showdown between the two when Rollins is ready to come back to the ring. For now though, Reed is going to be able to get out there and do his thing against someone else, who can serve as his next victims until Rollins is ready.
