Whodunit: Reason For Taz Being Written Off AEW Television

That’s a good reason. There are all kinds of reasons for something to take place in wrestling and it might be something that you do not realize on the surface. Occasionally you will see a storyline take place that is being done for a very different reason. That is the case again at the moment, as someone was written off television for a rather serious medical situation.

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured Nigel McGuinness on commentary rather than Taz, who was attacked in the parking lot before the show. Taz has since announced that he will be undergoing total knee replacement surgery in the near future, which is likely the reason for him being written off television. There is no word on how long Taz will be out ofa ction. Taz’s son Hook has promised to find out and get revenge on whomever attacked his father.

Opinion: That does explain things and it is a good idea. Taz is someone who still has some value to AEW fans and they are going to be interested if someone attacked him. It is a good way to go and something that AEW took advantage of in a smart move. It gives Hook something to do and is something that Taz was going to have to do no matter what so why not see what you can do?
