Whoa? Becky Lynch Makes Interesting Instagram Post, What It Might Mean For Her Future

Not just yet? Retirement is a complicated situation as you never know when you might see a wrestler completely hang up their boots. You might see a wrestler tease retirement before deciding to stick around or revealing that they were never going to leave in the first place. Right now one of the bigger names in wrestling might be hinting at something, but her former bosses do not seem to know about it.

Becky Lynch’s WWE contract expired earlier this year and she stepped away from the company for the time being. Earlier this week and following her Biography special airing on A&E, Lynch posted to Instagram, saying that she has had a “he**uva career” and that “being The Man was an honor”.

According to Fightful Select, if this was Lynch announcing her retirement, WWE has not been told. It was also believe that if Lynch were to retire, she would not do it in an Instagram post. WWE has been giving Lynch her space during her time away and would love to have her back if she wants to return. There is no word on when Lynch, 37, will return, if she does.

Opinion: This is one of those things where it depends on what Lynch means, as she very well could just be moving away from “The Man” and continuing her career. She has long since reached the point where her legend is secure and maybe she is done in the ring. For now, the only thing we can do is wait, as there is every chance that she will be wrestling again someday.
