Tis the season. We are less than six weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and that means it is time to start setting up the biggest weekend of the WWE’s year. This year’s show takes place in Los Angeles, California and just like last time, WWE is airing some parody movie trailers to tie into the Hollywood theme. The first one has already aired and features two of the bigger stars in WWE today.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That Looked Awful: WWE Star Helped From Elimination Chamber, Falls Going Down Stairs
WWE debuted the first of its WrestleMania movie trailer parodies over the weekend at Elimination Chamber. The trailer features Seth Rollins as the Joker, dancing down a set of stairs. At the bottom, he runs into Batman, played by Becky Lynch but not wearing a mask. The two talk, ultimately agreeing that Lynch, who is not named, is in fact The Man. There is no word on when the next trailer will be released.
This was different. Check out the trailer, a trailer for the trailers, and the original series:
Opinion: These things are so much fun and it’s very cool to have them back after so many years away. If nothing else, it makes me wonder what other ideas WWE might have for these things, as the combinations they come up with can be very creative. The first one is certainly good, and now we have almost six more weeks to see what else they have up their sleeves.
