WATCH: WWE Releases Bonus Footage Of Roman Reigns' Return At Summerslam

Look at this. There are certain moments that take place during a wrestling show that stand out above the rest. Those moments are often saved for bigger times in the event and will take place during the bigger parts of a show. That was the situation this weekend at one of the bigger wrestling events of the year, to the point where WWE is taking another special look at what happened.

The main event of Summerslam saw Cody Rhodes defending the WWE Universal Title against Solo Sikoa. Late in the match, Roman Reigns returned to the company and attacked Sikoa, allowing Rhodes to win. WWE has released additional footage of Reigns’ return, including different camera angles. Reigns had been missing from WWE TV following his loss to Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

Opinion: I can’t blame WWE for wanting to showcase this as much as they can as Reigns’ return was one of the strongest reactions I’ve seen in a long time. WWE knows what they have in bringing Reigns back and it should be interesting to see where things go. At the same time, it makes sense for showcasing what they have as much as they can, with WWE’s production staff working overtime to make it work.
