They aren’t done yet. There is quite a bit of AEW television content every single week but that does not mean that everything that needs to be covered takes place on the shows. Sometimes there will be something that takes place elsewhere that will be seen later, which was the case again this week as two feuds kept going after the main television show wen toff the air.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Already: AEW Reportedly Discussing Bringing Back Suspended Wrestler As Soon As This Week
AEW has uploaded a video to its YouTube page showing a backstage brawl after this week’s Dynamite went off the air. The video begins with Jeff Jarrett being interviewed about his loss to Bryan Danielson when Hangman Page jumps him. Page then brawls with Jarrett’s friend Jay Lethal before Toni Storm and Mariah May, who had been fighting earlier in the night, came into the same area and continued their brawl. Referees and staff broke both fights up.
It was a busy night. Check out what happened after Dynamite went off the air and how we got here:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that gives the show a bit more of a realistic feeling. Why should these fights stop just because the show goes off the air? It makes sense for the people involved in violent altercations earlier in the night to keep going and hopefully we see this on television rather than just on YouTube. It’s a nice bit of bonus content and advanced some stories, which is a nice thing to see.
