WATCH: Stable Splits On Monday Night Raw After Bad Loss

They’re done? Stables have been a part of wrestling for decades now and that continues to this day. While there have been almost countless teams over the years, one of the few things that they have in common is that they will likely split up at some point. That can be quite the moment and we seem to have seen it take place again this week after a weeks’ long tease.

This week’s Monday Night Raw saw the split of the Alpha Academy, with the team members walking out on leader Chad Gable. Earlier in the night, Gable blamed his loss on Akira Tozawa and attacked him before taking Maxxine Dupri’s crutch. Otis stood up to Gable and left with his teammates, with Gable being left alone in the ring. This comes after weeks of the split being teased, with Sami Zayn pushing the team to leave Gable. The show ended with Gable being attacked by the new Uncle Howdy stable.

Opinion: Assuming this is the split for the team, and it certainly seems to be, we should be in for a good story going forward. At the same time, we could be waiting for a long time as the ending of the show suggests that Gable could be out of action for a long time. Other than that, we could be in for a heck of a moment if Otis gets his hands on Gable, as the build is certainly there.
