WATCH: Monday Night Raw Star Makes Surprise Return To Save Old Friend On NXT

The latest. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster and it can be difficult for the company to find something for everyone to do. WWE having so many regular television shows with their own rosters help solve that problem though and that was on display again this week. A main roster star has made an appearance in her old stomping grounds as a friend needed some help.

This week’s NXT featured Tatum Paxley defeating TNA’s Rosemary. Following the match, Wendy Choo joined Rosemary in attacking Paxley, with Monday Night Raw’s Lyra Valkyria returning to NXT to save her. Later, Valkyria said that while she did not want to come back to NXT, she had to help her friend Paxley, with a tag match being hinted at but not officially made. There is nothing to suggest that this is a permanent move for Valkyria.

Opinion: That was quite the surprise and that is a good thing in this case. Valkyria has only been so busy on the main roster in recent weeks so giving her something to do here is not a bad idea. It helps that she and Paxley have a history together so we could be in for a fresh feud with Valkyria being given something to do for the time being. WWE has done this quite a few times in recent months and it should work again here.
