WATCH: Mercedes Mone Believes She Will Return To WWE One Day

Circle back? There are all kinds of wrestling promotions in the world but the two biggest are WWE and AEW. The two promotions are in regular competition for talent and it can be a big deal when a wrestler who has been in one promotion goes to another. The bigger the name the bigger the deal it is, but now a former WWE superstar who seems to be heading to AEW is already talking about going back to WWE.

On March 13, AEW is presenting Big Business, a special edition of Dynamite from Boston, Massachusetts. While not confirmed, it is widely expected that Mercedes Mone will be debuting at the show. Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, appeared on the Kick Rocks podcast, where she said she knows she will be going to WWE someday. Mone walked out of WWE in May 2022 over differences with her creative direction.

Opinion: While I’m sure Mone believes what she is saying and I’m sure WWE would be interested in having her back one day, it might not be the best time to say something like this. At the end of the day, Mone has not even debuted for AEW yet but is already talking about her next step. Hopefully Mone’s time in WWE is going to be a success, but for now she might not be having the best start.
