Back in there. Wrestlers are not exactly like other athletes in that they are able to take long stretches away from the ring and then return later in one way or another. It can take quite a long stretch before someone does get back in action but the wait is often worth the time. That is what we kind of saw with a former star returning earlier this week after a good while away.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Planning NBC Special For This December

Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, under the name of Mandy Sachs, made a surprise return to wrestling earlier this week, appearing at the Crowning Glory Wrestling’s Combine from Black Label Pro. Rose did a run-in and hit a running knee before also participating in various competitions later in the night. Rose has been away from wresting since December 2022 when she was released from WWE. There is nothing to suggest that she will be wrestling again full time.

She’s still got it. Check out Rose’s run-in and appearances at the combine:

Opinion: Rose is one of the more interesting stars not currently working for a major promotion. She is someone who could be put on television at any point and feel like a star, though that very well may not be the most likely case anytime soon. For now though, it is nice to see her back in the ring even at a small level, as it opens the door for her to return to the sport later.

What do you think of Rose’s return? Where could you see her signing? Let us know in the comments below.
