WATCH: Major WrestleMania 40 Showdown Teased On Monday Night Raw

That would be a big one. We are less than three months away from WrestleMania 40 and that means WWE has already gone a long way to set things up for the biggest show of the year. With two nights of content to put together, WWE is going to need to start the build towards the show that much earlier, and now we might be getting the tease for one heck of a showdown.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley said it didn’t matter who won the Royal Rumble for the right to challenge her because she would defeat anyone who came at her. Becky Lynch interrupted and said she said Ripley might be better than her, so she needed to face her to find out. Ripley said she hoped Lynch got the title shot and said she would see Lynch at WrestleMania. There is no word on if the match will take place at the show.

Opinion: There are certain matches that would fit in perfectly well at WrestleMania and this would be near the top of WWE’s list. Ripley has been an incredibly dominant champion since winning the title and a lot of that has been due to a lack of serious competition. Lynch is about as perfect of a choice for competition as you could get and now we might be on the way to a huge title match at the biggest show of the year.
