WATCH: Johnny Gargano Trains Tommaso Ciampa To RKO Randy Orton

The people you see in the ring train for years to make everything work and that can be easier said than done. Sometimes a wrestler can work incredibly hard to get a certain aspect of their game down. That was on display this week.

Over the last few weeks, Tommaso Ciampa has appeared in a series of backstage videos, showing him attempting to RKO Randy Orton. This has gone horribly wrong for Ciampa, with Kevin Owens attacking him for trying to do it again last week. The latest video features Ciampa’s friend Johnny Gargano practicing RKO’s on a mannequin. This led to what Gargano described as an “epic training montage” with surprising results.

Opinion: This seems to be going somewhere, with the ending appearing to set up something for the next part. These videos have been coming out for almost a month and a half now and they are actually telling a story. Yes it is a rather goofy story and played up heavily for humor, but there is definitely something there, which hopefully leads to something taking place on television.
