Here he comes again. The end to Sunday’s Hell In A Cell event has not been well received. The show’s main event ended in what was officially deemed a referee’s stoppage, which was not the best way to end a match inside the Cell. It did not end well for anyone involved, to the point where neither Seth Rollins or the Fiend appeared on the following episode of Monday Night Raw. One did appear that night though.
It was a surprise ending. Check out the Fiend appearing after Monday Night Raw:
After Monday Night Raw went off the air, the Fiend appeared before the live crowd. Cesaro was in the ring after being knocked out by Tyson Fury after the show was over but got back up to face the Miz in a dark match. Before the match could start though, the lights went out and the Fiend appeared to lay Cesaro out with the Mandible Claw. The match never took place and the evening ended. This comes after Fiend was reportedly injured at Hell In A Cell.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that they had to do to give the fans something to get interested in to end the show. It wasn’t the best Monday Night Raw in the world to start so this was a smart move from WWE. What matters next is to find a way to rehabilitate the Fiend from what happened on Sunday, as he took a heavy amount of damage from the match itself.
