Welcome back. There are different kinds of ways to bring a wrestler back from a hiatus. One of the more interesting can be to have him appear in a surprise for a big moment, as it can shake things up in a positive way. That was the situation again this weekend, as a former World Champion made a surprise return from injury to help his friends out of a bit of a problem.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Still Here: The Undertaker Will Be Around A Lot More Frequently Very Soon

The main event of this week’s AEW Collision saw the House Of Black cost the Blackpool Combat Club their shot at the Tag Team Titles. Following the match, the House o Black and champions Big Bill/Ricky Starks attacked the Club. Jon Moxley made his return to make the save and end the show, marking his return from a concussion suffered last month. This would suggest that he is medically cleared to return to the ring.

It was a cool return. Check out Moxley’s return, plus what he can do when he is in the ring:

Opinion: That’s a good way to bring Moxley back as he is certainly one of the biggest names that AEW has to offer. It makes sense to bring him back at the end of the show so he can make the save to the strong reaction, which is exactly what we got here. Moxley being back is a nice upgrade for AEW, as like him or not, he is one of their most popular stars up and down the card.
