We’re not done. There are all kinds of things that take place on any given WWE television show. Many of them run over two hours or even closer to three hours, though the cameras turning off do not mean that the night is over. Sometimes you will see something else take place after the show is over and that was the case this week with the company’s flagship weekly show.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Monday Night Raw Superstar Out For Months Due To Broken Ribs, Punctured Lung

This week’s Monday Night Raw ended with a face to face confrontation between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. As seen on Twitter, after Punk left and the show was over, Carmelo Hayes came out and attacked Rhodes. This resulted in Rhodes hitting a Cross Rhodes and putting Hayes through a table to end the show. Rhodes and Hayes have interacted on SmackDown in the past.

This was big. Check out the interaction plus what happened to Rhodes on the show:

Opinion: That wasn’t a great way to wrap up the night for Hayes but it gave Rhodes, who was in his hometown, a nice ending. What matters the most here is that the fans get to go home happy, which might not have been the case after the way the show came to an end. Hayes it someone who can get beaten up rather quickly to give the fans a nice smile an that is what WWE did here.
