Welcome back. Retirement in wrestling is similar to how it works in almost every other sport. While it is not always the case, there is occasionally a way to know when someone’s career is going to end. Every so often a wrestler will let you know when they are going to hang it up, which leaves fans wondering how a career is going to end. Now, we might have an idea of where it is going.

Last year, Sting announced that he would be retiring from action competition at this year’s Revolution event. As a result, AEW has promoted Sting’s upcoming retirement match but has not said who he would be facing. This week’s AEW Dynamite saw Sting and Darby Allin win a match, only to be confronted by the returning Young Bucks, who have not been seen since November. While not confirmed, this would suggest the two teams could meet in Sting’s retirement match. Revolution will take place on March 6.

Opinion: I’m sure that pick will get people talking, but it is certainly not what I was expecting. The Bucks might not be everyone’s choice, but they are certainly on the short list of most important names in AEW. I’m not sure how the match is going to go, but if this is what Sting wants, it is a little bit difficult to try and turn him down fr the final match of his career.
