Crossover. While WWE and AEW are the wrestling promotions that get more attention than any other, they are far from the only companies in the world. There are several other wrestling promotions out there with all kinds of talented wrestlers. Every so often you will see one of them show up elsewhere and that was the case this week, as a champion made a very surprising debut.

This week’s NXT featured Roxanne Perez finding out her next challenger. General Manager Ava introduced TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace as the challenger, with Grace later saying that she would become a double champion. The title match is officially set for Battleground on June 9. Later in the show, a match between Grace and Stevie Turner was made for next week’s show. Grace previously appeared in the Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this year.

Opinion: This is one of those things that I did not see coming and that makes things all the more interesting. The idea that another promotion’s champion is not only in WWE but in a prominent match is quite the special treat and I could go for seeing how this goes. It also opens up the question of where things go from here, and that makes for a rather interesting set of options.
