New World Organiz….never mind. On July 7, 1996, Hulk Hogan shocked the wrestling world by being revealed as the Third Man at Bash at the Beach 1996. This was the answer to the big question that had turned the show into a must see event and launched one of the biggest boom periods for any company in wrestling history. Now it’s over twenty two years later and they seem to be living up to the For Life slogan.
I hope this means Rockhouse.
A new video has been released showing Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, the original incarnation of the New World Order, together for the first time in over fifteen years. They also spray paint the NWO letters onto a WCW World Title belt, which was one of their signature moments in their original run. This project has been rumored for weeks, though the eventual goal isn’t clear.
Opinion: I have no idea what this is going to be for, though given the fact that the 59 year old Nash is the youngest of the three, it’s fairly clear that they won’t be wrestling. You could imagine having them show up in WWE, and if nothing else the copyright issues would probably guarantee that’s the case. I’m moderately interested in seeing it happen, if nothing else just to have that trio back one more time.
