So much for the flu. The last few days haven’t been kind to Braun Strowman, who was sent home from the WWE holiday tour due to illness. Strowman, who is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar and Kane in a Universal Title match at “Royal Rumble 2018” was back on “Monday Night Raw” this week and won a quick match, but wasn’t done for the evening.
According to PWInsider.com, Kane left the arena after brawling with Lesnar to end the show. After Lesnar left as well, Strowman came out and said he wanted to fight some more and called out Kane. This lead to a brawl where Kane beat on Strowman with a chair, only to be powerslammed through a table to end the show. This is the same sequence the two have done on recent house shows.
Opinion: That’s about the only way you could end a show like this as Strowman is someone who needs to be pushed as hard as he can as they head into the pay per view title match. Kane might not be the best choice for this spot but it makes sense to have him out there with Strowman as well.
Who do you think wins the title match? If neither of these two take the title from Lesnar, who will? Let us know in the comments below.
