VIDEO: Former World Champion Makes Surprise Monday Night Raw Return After Months Away

Welcome back. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to leave a promotion, with injuries being among the highest on the list. While there are various degrees of injuries, at some point, they all need to heal in one way or another. It can be a big deal when someone heals up and gets back in the ring, which is what we saw teased this week with one of the biggest names in wrestling.

Seth Rollins made a surprise return to WWE this week on Monday Night Raw. Rollins suggested that he would be entering the Money In The Bank ladder match but World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest interrupted. Priest issued a challenge to Rollins for a title shot at the Money In The Bank event on July 7, with Rollins accepting. This will be Rollins’ first match snice WrestleMania 40 as he has been out of action recovering from a knee injury.

Opinion: It’s very nice for WWE to have Rollins back as like him or not, he is one of the biggest stars WWE has today. He is already being put into the World Title picture, which is right where he belongs after such a long reign with the title. It’s a big deal to have someone who can be put into any spot on the card and Rollins has long since shown that he can thrive in that way.
