He did it. There are all kinds of titles and accomplishments in wrestling, but at some point a wrestler is going to lose most of them. You are very rarely going to see a wrestler achieve something that lasts forever, with a wrestling Hall Of Fame being one of the few possible outcomes. Now though, we are seeing something done in a wrestling Hall Of Fame for the first time ever.

WWE has uploaded a video to its Instagram page, revealing that Drew McIntyre has become the first active wrestler inducted into the Professional Wrestling For Scotland Hall Of Fame. The Hall Of Fame was opened in 2014 with one inductee per year. McIntyre is in Scotland to challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship this weekend at Clash At The Castle in Glasgow, Scotland.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that feels special and must be a huge deal for McIntyre. Not only getting to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame, but also being the first active wrestler inducted makes it all the better. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him win the World Heavyweight Championship to cap off the weekend, which already had one of the most special moments of his career.
