It’s never too early to start planning ahead. It might not seem like it but we’re now less four months away from WrestleMania 35. That’s going to be a big show in the biggest market in the country with WWE wanting to put out the biggest card they can pull off. With that much time left for WWE, it’s already time to start getting the card ready, and we might know two big matches.
According to the No Holds Barred podcast via Ringsidenews.com, two current matches scheduled for WrestleMania 35 are AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio challenging for the United States Title against either Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe or Andrade Cien Almas. Nakamura is the current champion, meaning the title would have to change hands at some point before then to set up the WrestleMania match.
Styles and Orton have been at it before. Check out a big match they had before, with WrestleMania implications:
Opinion: We’re still a long way off from WrestleMania but I could go for either of those matches on the big stage. Mysterio winning the United States Title would be a nice moment and a little call back to him winning the Intercontinental Title ten years earlier at WrestleMania 25. With some luck, we could be in for a great WrestleMania and that’s always a good thing.
