Two for the road to Extreme Rules. The main event of “Extreme Rules 2017” is set in stone with a Fatal Five Way for the #1 contendership for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title on the line. With less than two weeks to go before the pay per view, it’s time to set the matches up and next week’s “Monday Night Raw” will do just that.
On this week’s show, General Manager Kurt Angle made two matches for next week’s go home episode. Next week we’ll see Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Samoa Joe in a triple threat as well as Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns. As you might have guessed, these five men are also participating in the #1 contenders match at “Extreme Rules 2017”.
Opinion: At least it’s a short build and they’re setting up a match where pinfalls count. It can be a little much if you’re setting up a match where pinfalls have no bearing (like Money in the Bank) and while it’s not the best thing in the world here, I’ll take it over some of the other alternatives.
Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt: Raw, May 22, 2017
